II – Declarations and Responsibilities:

I declare that I am fully aware that the tourism, ecotourism, and adventure activities carried out during the experience with JUNGLERS MARIE TRAVEL AGENCY LTDA., hereinafter referred to as “UAB,” involve inherent risks due to the nature of the operation and the environment in which they are conducted, such as hiking trails, river navigation, swimming, wildlife and flora observation, among others.

I acknowledge that, despite all safety protocols adopted by UAB, such activities pose potential risks of personal injury, health issues, property loss, and, in extreme cases, risk of death. I declare that I am physically and mentally fit to participate, in good health, and that I have disclosed any pre-existing medical conditions in advance.

I understand that any rescue or medical assistance required may be hindered by the remote location of the operation, and that any resulting costs not covered by specific insurance will be my responsibility, subject to potential reimbursement by the insurer.

I further declare that I am not under the influence of intoxicating substances or alcoholic beverages during the activities, and that I commit to following all instructions and guidelines provided by the UAB team, including proper equipment use and safety procedures.

I undertake to respect the environment, environmental conduct regulations, and local traditional communities, refraining from any act that may cause environmental degradation or cultural or social disrespect, under penalty of civil and criminal liability for such acts.

I assume full responsibility for the risks I voluntarily undertake by participating in the activities, releasing UAB, its partners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and guides from any civil or criminal liability for damages or losses resulting from situations beyond their control, such as natural disasters, accidents caused by third parties, or participant error.

III – Insurance, Health, and Emergency Assistance:

I declare that I am aware that UAB strongly recommends purchasing personal accident insurance and that it is my sole responsibility to obtain such coverage, which is subject to the terms of the active policy. I agree that any emergency assistance will be provided as medically and logistically feasible, and that I will be responsible for any costs not covered.

IV – Equipment and Participation Conditions:

UAB recommends in its travel guide the use of appropriate gear and clothing for participation in jungle activities, hiking, river excursions, and other natural environment experiences.

I understand that it is solely my responsibility to provide and use such items, as advised by UAB, and I acknowledge that improper use or lack of such equipment may compromise my safety and comfort during the activities.

V – Final Provisions:

This agreement is made in accordance with Article 34, items IV, V, and VI of Decree No. 7.831/2010, with Articles 6, 14, and 51 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, and other applicable laws related to tourism and risk activities in Brazilian territory.

I agree to all terms set forth herein freely, consciously, and with full understanding, and acknowledge that this waiver is an integral part of the services provided by UAB.
