Day 1
Arriving aboard Untamed Amazon marks the beginning of a transition. A brief sensory experience invites guests to awaken their senses before the navigation even begins. Lunch takes place in the presence of one of the Amazon's most emblematic natural phenomena: the Meeting of the Waters, where the Negro and the Solimões flow side by side without merging, a reminder that differences can coexist in perfect harmony. In the afternoon, the route continues through the Janauari Ecological Park. Among giant Victoria amazonica, the forest begins to reveal its first details. The return happens in silence, in canoes that move through narrow igarapés back to the vessel, as the day fades beneath the canopy.
Day 2
The morning begins at the Museu do Seringal, where the history of the rubber cycle is presented to the travelers. From there, a visit to the Tuyuka community offers a rare opportunity to encounter different perspectives on the Amazon, through those who have built their relationship with the territory across generations. As the boat navigates, lunch is served and the landscape shifts slowly past the panoramic windows, with the Rio Negro revealing its beauty and mysteries. In the afternoon, the Anavilhanas archipelago unfolds as an intricate labyrinth of islands, channels and mirror-like waters. The journey becomes an immersion in the geography, the biodiversity and the stories that shape this territory, before anchoring for a night surrounded by one of the most compelling landscapes in the Amazon.
Day 3
Before breakfast, an invitation to witness Anavilhanas. Thousands of islands, channels and mirror-like waters come alive alongside birds, pink dolphins and countless species that find here one of the greatest natural refuges on the planet. We continue to the Tumbira community, where local initiatives show how conservation and development can move forward together. Lunch is served as the boat heads toward Praia Grande. There, the Amazon takes another form: a carefully prepared setting welcomes guests for an afternoon by the water, with drinks, snacks and the privilege of contemplating a beach that exists only during certain periods of the year. At nightfall, a luau closes the day beneath the Amazonian sky, where fire, food and music create a naturally welcoming atmosphere.
Day 4
The day begins with a walk through the forest. From there, a visit to a traditional farinha house brings guests closer to one of the most important foods in Amazonian culture. After lunch on board, we offer an immersion into the world of essential oils produced in the forest. Later, our canoes move through the channels of the Ariaú River. As the light begins to fade, you are guided into the nocturnal Amazon. The reflection of lanterns on the surface of the water reveals caimans and other inhabitants that only become visible after sunset. At dinner, the flavors of the Amazon take on new meaning, reflecting a forest that, at this point in the journey, already feels surprisingly familiar.
Day 5
On the final morning, there is no rush. The canoes glide slowly through the channels of the Jacaré-Ubal region, winding through flooded vegetation toward an encounter with the pink dolphins that inhabit these waters. It is a quiet farewell. Returning to the vessel, many realize they will carry with them more than photographs. They will carry a new understanding of the Amazon — built not only by the places visited, but by the people encountered, the rivers navigated and the time devoted to observing a forest that continues to teach, long after the journey ends.
