The Untamed Amazon is the very first vessel of its kind in Amazonia that uses solar power generation for electricity use. The system has 96 state-of-the-art German solar panel generators and 3 tons of Hitachi Solar Batteries – the most advanced Japanese battery system for solar power generation. 

The Untamed Amazon is an aggressive project that brings a unique concept to boat design that changes the game in live-aboard vessel standards. It was designed to offer a unique and remarkable experience; it has 3 levels. 

The lower floor is a restricted area for staff only, and includes the inner workings and heart of the vessel with its twin 200-horse-power propulsion engines. It also houses the laundry, staff rooms, and water filtration systems. The vessel has its own sewage treatment plant.

The main floor of the Untamed Amazon has 8 guest suites each 18 square meters in size - 6 of which are double suites, and two of which are set up as single suites. Six suites can accommodate two guests, in super single beds and includes a private bathroom, air conditioning and plenty of open space for clothes, equipment and storage. Two suites accommodate single guests, also with private bathrooms, air-conditioning and plenty of open space for clothes, equipment and storage. The suites all feature outside-facing, ceiling-to-floor panoramic windows.

The upper level is for guests to relax, enjoy an adult beverage and relive their days fishing adventure. It features a spacious living and dining room, and an open lounge where drinks and appetizers are served.  This 3rd level is also home to the full commercial kitchen where a trained chef and his team create sumptuous meals, as well as serving as the command and navigation center for the vessel.

‍Alcoholic beverages
During meals, house wines and beer are included in our package. Outside of meal times, all other beverages are charged separately. We also have a special selection of spirits and premium wines available at an additional cost. Additionally, we feature an exceptional bar on our boat, where a talented mixologist can turn your journey into a true odyssey of unique and personalized flavors (not included).

Water
‍Our partnership with YETI coolers allowed us to design a program that focuses on reducing the use of plastic bottles in Rio Marié to zero or to a minimum. As a result, we have built last generation filters to provide pure potable water in our lodges. The Untamed Amazon has a complete water filtration system, of 5 elements (Sediment, Micro Filter, Bacterial Filter and Reverse Osmosis units). The quality of our water is regularly checked by a renowned Manaus (Brazil) laboratory—you will find the certificate in the living room. All bathrooms have filtered water in taps and showers.

Electricity on Boat
‍Amazon Untamed has electricity through solar power generators, and we have electricity 24 hours a day. We ask all guests to consider the average environment and the economy of our operation, reducing electrical consumption in addition to leaving electrical items on when not in use. The solar battery system is designed to maintain energy from 23hs until 6 am without the need to ignite diesel generators. Erase the lights when not in use. There are diesel generators for backup needs. The electric current is 110 volts, 50 cycles available 24 hours in all the rooms.From 17pm to 23pm, the generator is on duty to recharge batteries and maintain high electrical consumption. From 23pm to 6am we work with solar panels and the battery bank.
