What to Bring on Your Untamed Amazon Journey:

• Two pairs of polarized sunglasses (in case one gets lost or broken – polarization is recommended but not mandatory)

• SPF 30+ sunscreen (UVA and UVB protection, waterproof and fragrance-free)

• Lightweight waterproof rain jacket

• Long-sleeve sun protection shirts

• Quick-dry pants

• Swimsuits

• Rubber sandals

• Hiking shoes or trail sneakers (bring more than one pair, as shoes may get wet on trails. You may also bring rubber or trail boots if preferred)

• Insect repellent and anti-itch cream

• Lip balm with high SPF

• Waterproof backpack or dry bag

• Smartphone or tablet with charger

• Zip-lock bags (to carry your camera and other gear while on the boat)

• Airline tickets and travel itinerary

• Cash (for tips*, souvenir purchases, etc.)

• Emergency contact numbers

• Personal hygiene products (toothbrush, toothpaste, hand lotion, etc.)

• Any personal medications (bring a prescription if required)

• Consider bringing an allergy medication (suggested: Epipen)

For International Travelers:

• Universal power adapter

• International credit card authorized for use abroad

• Passport valid for at least 6 months

• Two copies of your passport (stored separately in zip-lock bags)

*At the end of the cruise, it is customary to thank our staff with a discretionary gratuity. We suggest 10% of the trip cost, which will be equally shared among all team members.
