Untamed Amazon / Untamed Angling Brazil is part of the international Untamed Angling group, founded in Argentina in 2001 with the purpose of redefining high-end fly fishing experiences in South America. Since its inception, the group has built a strong reputation by developing remote, exclusive, and environmentally responsible destinations that connect anglers to the last wild frontiers of the continent.

Today, Untamed Angling operates seamlessly across Bolivia and Brazil, establishing itself as one of the world’s leading references in elite fly fishing and community-based ecotourism, combining high-level logistics, environmental conservation, equitable partnerships with Indigenous communities, and meaningful social impact.

Operations are led by Marcelo Pérez and Rodrigo Salles, partners who share a common vision: to develop unique experiences in remote regions of the Amazon, based on a sustainable, sophisticated model deeply connected to local realities.

Untamed Amazon embodies this vision within the world’s largest tropical rainforest. It stands as the Brazilian arm of the group, representing excellence in the development and operation of high-end community-based tourism projects focused on ecotourism and sport fishing since 2013. Our initiatives are built in partnership with Indigenous communities and traditional populations, creating a pioneering model where fly fishing and ecotourism serve as tools for conservation, income generation, and cultural preservation.

Beyond operating destinations, we develop protected territories where access is strictly controlled, environmental impact is carefully managed, and natural resources are continuously monitored.
