2027 Holidays Lived at the River's Pace

Every year, the calendar offers a few pauses. The question is what to do with them. Instead of spending the holiday on busy roads and crowded destinations, some travelers prefer to change their rhythm entirely.

In 2027, Untamed Amazon has departures scheduled around several of Brazil's main holidays. Each one is an invitation to trade haste for the pace of the forest.

Carnival: a different way to celebrate

Some celebrate Carnival in the streets. Others prefer to celebrate life in another way: with the sound of the forest at dawn, the river as the landscape, and late afternoons at the upper deck bar. The Carnival Experience departure brings together nature, culture, and rest for those looking for a quieter kind of festivity.

Easter: a time to reconnect

Easter carries a sense of renewal. In the Amazon, it takes shape in days guided by the river, in time spent with communities and their ancestral knowledge, in meals shared on board. The Easter Tukano departure is a pause to reconnect with family, friends, or yourself.

Tiradentes: a pause in April

Tiradentes Day is a Brazilian national holiday that often goes by unnoticed. The Tiradentes Experience departure turns it into immersion: forest walks, wildlife observation at its own pace, Amazonian flavors at the table, and quiet nights surrounded by nature.

Corpus Christi: the Amazon at another pace

The Corpus Christi holiday opens room for a longer pause. The Tukano departure balances navigation, experiences off the boat, and rest on board, with time to contemplate the landscape and simply be present.

The full calendar

Beyond the holidays, 2027 also includes departures in June and during the July school break. With only eight suites on board, each departure welcomes a small group. That keeps the experience personal and means the most requested dates fill early.

If one of these holidays is already on your mind, now is a good time to plan.
